How to Create a Backup of Redmi 9 Prime (lancelot)

Backing up your Redmi 9 Prime or MIUI based smartphone locally saves your data—like contacts, call history, system apps settings, theme settings, launcher settings, notes, Wi-Fi settings, photos, and messages—directly to your device or SD card. It's simple and doesn't need internet.

STEP 1: Go to "Settings" on your Redmi 9 Prime. Tap About Phone.

STEP 2: Now Click on Back up and restore

STEP 3: Choose computer to create a local backup.

STEP 4: In the backup tab click on Mobile device. You will be prompted to enter device password.

STEP 5: Now select What items you want to back up?. Click on Back up Button when you are ready.

STEP 6: The backup will start and you can see the progress.

Once the backup is completed. Go to Internal storage/ MIUI/ backup/ AllBackup You will see all the backups. Copy these folders to your PC, You can zip first and save them later too.

And that's how you can backup SMS, calls, Wi-Fi, calendar, notes to PC.

Restoring a backup:

Let's say you formatted your device, and you want to restore from the backup you saved earlier. for that copy back the folder to Internal storage/MIUI/ backup/ AllBackup/

Now Switch to Restore instead of Back up. Select a backup to restore.

Finally Click on Restore button, and your backup will be restored.
